The Best Deals on the Xbox Store This Week: June 9, 2025 to June 16, 2025

The post The Best Deals on the Xbox Store This Week: June 9, 2025 to June 16, 2025 appeared first on Cheat Code Central.

The Xbox Store has been having some great ongoing sales as of late, and the conclusion of the Xbox Games Showcase this past Sunday saw another round of deals pop up that bring many beloved titles down to some of their lowest-ever prices on the Xbox Store. Unsurprisingly, there’s a great mix of older and newer titles in the full roster of discounted games, and we’ve gone through the listings to highlight some of the current best ongoing deals on the Xbox Store that you’ll want to cash in on before it wraps. As a reminder, the current sale on most of these titles runs until June 23, and many of the deals are for games playable both on PC and on Xbox via the Xbox App.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

The Best Deals on the Xbox Store This Week: June 9, 2025 to June 16, 2025
  • Release Date — October 27, 2017
  • Publisher — Bethesda Softworks
  • Developer — MachineGames
  • Genre — FPS
  • Review Aggregate Score — 87% (Generally Favorable)
  • Price — $8.99 (Normally $59.99, 85% off)

MachineGames’ second title in its modern reboot of the classic Wolfenstein series, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, is arguably one of the best story-driven single-player FPS titles of the last decade. In addition to featuring some incredible setpiece moments and airtight shooting mechanics, The New Colossus has a surprisingly poignant story that elevates it to being the best game in the entire franchise. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is currently down to its record low of just $9, making it one of the best games you can get for under $10 as part of the current Xbox Store sale.

Resident Evil Village Gold Edition

Resident Evil Village gameplay
  • Release Date — May 7, 2021
  • Publisher — Capcom
  • Developer — Capcom
  • Genre — Survival Horror, Action
  • Review Aggregate Score — 84% (Generally Favorable)
  • Price — $14.99 (Normally $49.99, 75% off)

Coinciding with some excellent announcements at the Summer Game Fest 2025, Capcom has most of its titles on sale on just about every major digital storefront, and the Xbox Store is no different. The game we’ve chosen to highlight as one of the current best deals to grab on the Xbox Store is Resident Evil: Village Gold Edition, which includes both the base game and all the DLC for the 8th mainline Resident Evil for just $15. If you’ve yet to play the latest entry in the series, now’s the perfect time ahead of Resident Evil: Requiem‘s February release date.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard

Dragon Age: The Veilguard gameplay
  • Release Date — October 31, 2014
  • Publisher — Electronic Arts
  • Developer — BioWare
  • Genre — Action RPG
  • Review Aggregate Score — 82% (Generally Favorable)
  • Price — $34.99 (Normally $69.99, 50% off)

Despite a somewhat mixed reception from fans who were hoping for a title more akin to Dragon Age: Inquisition, Dragon Age: The Veilguard is a solid action RPG that’s a lot better than it gets credit for. Combat and exploration are arguably the title’s highlights, with its story and characters (as well as its branching choices and morality components) taking an unfortunate backseat. While I might not leap at the chance to recommend it at full price, Dragon Age: The Veilguard is absolutely worth picking up at its current 50% discount.

Star Wars Outlaws

Star Wars Outlaws gameplay
  • Release Date — August 30, 2024
  • Publisher — Ubisoft
  • Developer — Massive Entertainment
  • Genre — Action-Adventure, Open-World
  • Review Aggregate Score — 75% (Generally Favorable)
  • Price — $34.99 (Normally $69.99, 50% off)

Similar to Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Star Wars Outlaws is a title whose few flaws tend to override all the goodwill it should get as a solid action-adventure game in a beautifully realized open-world setting from the Star Wars universe. However, also like Veilguard, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend grabbing Outlaws at its normal full price of $70. Right now, you can get Outlaws for 50% off at just $35, which is definitely a reasonable asking price for the experience it offers. Plus, Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment have done some commendable work addressing gameplay and performance issues via patches, meaning Star Wars Outlaws is now in the best state it’s ever been.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance – Royal Edition

Kingdom Come: Deliverance gameplay
  • Release Date — February 13, 2018
  • Publisher — Deep Silver
  • Developer — Warhorse Studios
  • Genre — RPG
  • Review Aggregate Score — 76% (Generally Favorable)
  • Price — $7.99 (Normally $39.99, 80% off)

Warhorse Studios has a surefire Game of the Year contender on its hands with Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, which makes now the perfect time to see what the series is all about with its predecessor while it’s on sale. The first Kingdom Come: Deliverance regularly goes on sale for its current price of just $8, and it’s a fascinating RPG that values historical realism and immersion more than most other games in the genre. If you can learn its quirks and master its challenging combat, Kingdom Come: Deliverance can offer you a truly unique experience that’s worth triple its current asking price.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance gameplay
  • Release Date — February 19, 2013
  • Publisher — Konami
  • Developer — PlatinumGames
  • Genre — Action
  • Review Aggregate Score — 80% (Generally Favorable)
  • Price — $7.99 (Normally $19.99, 60% off)

One of the best things to do during each Xbox Store sale is to go through the listings and see which original Xbox and Xbox 360 games are discounted, as there’s usually some gold to be found there among all the deals. One of the best ones to grab right now is Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance for just $8, which is an absolute steal for one of the best character action titles to come from PlatinumGames. While the story of Metal Gear Rising is pure nonsense, its gameplay is a pure dopamine rush, delivering some of the best deflection-based sword combat outside of Sekiro and spectacle that occasionally makes even Bayonetta seem tame.

Alan Wake Remastered

Alan Wake: Remastered gameplay
  • Release Date — October 5, 2021
  • Publisher — Microsoft Game Studios
  • Developer — Remedy Entertainment
  • Genre — Survival Horror
  • Review Aggregate Score — 79% (Generally Favorable)
  • Price — $4.49 (Normally $29.99, 85% off)

Easily one of the best deals on the Xbox Store right now is the one for Alan Wake Remastered, which is down to less than $5. This moody and atmospheric survival horror game is a master class in melding a strong narrative with diegetic gameplay elements that slowly but surely start to get under the player’s skin, and it’s an essential piece of Remedy’s connected universe that contains the Alan Wake and Control games (including this month’s FBC Firebreak). More than that, though, Alan Wake is just a great game that holds up surprisingly well given its age. No survival horror library is complete without it.

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon

Armored Core VI gameplay
  • Release Date — August 24, 2023
  • Publisher — FromSoftware, Bandai Namco
  • Developer — FromSoftware
  • Genre — Action, Shooter
  • Review Aggregate Score — 86% (Generally Favorable)
  • Price — $35.99 (Normally $59.99, 40% off)

FromSoftware’s Armored Core VI is arguably one of the best action games of the last decade, and it’s currently back down to its regular discount of 40% off, bringing it to just $36. Since its initial release, FromSoft has done quite a bit of tweaking and updating to Armored Core VI‘s balance, and it’s now essentially a “complete” game that won’t change much moving forward, making now the best time to dive in if you haven’t yet. With any luck, the continued success of Armored Core VI will help ensure that we get a seventh game in the series somewhere down the line.

Far Cry 5

Far Cry 5 gameplay
  • Release Date — March 27, 2018
  • Publisher — Ubisoft
  • Developer — Ubisoft Montreal
  • Genre — FPS, Open-World
  • Review Aggregate Score — 81% (Generally Favorable)
  • Price — $8.99 (Normally $59.99, 85% off)

The Far Cry games are almost like comfort food: they’re predictable, they’re formulaic, but if you’re in the mood for one, nothing else will suffice. The series might not have evolved much since the radical shift of Far Cry 3, but Far Cry 5 is perhaps the best game in the series since that pivotal entry, delivering a villain who rivals Vaas as one of the better antagonists in the franchise and an open-world sandbox that is an absolute joy to explore. And at just $8, you’ll be getting nearly a hundred hours of quality FPS gameplay for the price of a drink at Starbucks.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered gameplay
  • Release Date — April 22, 2025
  • Publisher — Bethesda Softworks
  • Developer — Bethesda Game Studios, Virtuous
  • Genre — RPG
  • Review Aggregate Score — 82% (Generally Favorable)
  • Price — $39.99 (Normally $49.99, 20% off)

One of the most surprising deals on the Xbox Store right now is for Oblivion Remastered, which just came out in April and is already 20% off. Even at a 20% discount, OblivionRemastered is still $40, but it’s also still one of the greatest RPGs ever made, only now with a fresh coat of paint. The Elder Scrolls VI is likely still a long way off, but games like Oblivion Remastered remind us how incredible the series is when Bethesda is operating at its peak.
