The post Best Deals on Steam This Week: June 13, 2025 to June 20, 2025 appeared first on Cheat Code Central.
Steam has some great sales and specials running right now to coincide with Steam Next Fest, with several of the best deals available seeing titles down to their lowest ever prices. Capcom, Konami, and Bandai Namco each have major specials active for at least the next 4 days, discounting many of their beloved titles, and several indie publishers have ongoing sales on their entire catalogues. Between all the different games currently on sale, there’s just about something for everyone. Ahead of the Steam Summer Sale that kicks off in just two weeks, there are still plenty of great deals to take advantage of, and we’ve gone through the listings to highlight 10 titles that we think are worth picking up for both their gameplay and the appealing nature of their discounts.
Blaster Master Zero

- Release Date — June 14, 2019
- Developer — Inti Creates
- Publisher — Inti Creates
- Genre — Action-Adventure, Metroidvania
- Steam User Score — 93% (Very Positive)
- Price — $4.99 (Normally $9.99, 50% off)
The entire Inti Creates catalog of titles is currently on sale on Steam until June 17, 2025, and one of the best games to pick up if you haven’t yet is Blaster Master Zero. Blaster Master Zero is an excellent retro throwback to the NES original that features some modern quality of life flourishes and gorgeous pixel art, and it leans definitively closer to Metroidvania territory than its 8-bit predecessor. The entire Blaster Master Zero trilogy is currently on sale, so if you pick up Blaster Master Zero and enjoy it, you can grab the other two games (which are both excellent) for cheap.
Nobody Saves the World

- Release Date — January 18, 2022
- Developer — DrinkBox Studios
- Publisher — DrinkBox Studios
- Genre — Action-Adventure
- Steam User Score — 91% (Very Positive)
- Price — $8.74 (Normally $24.99, 65% off)
DrinkBox Studios has a strong track record of releasing some incredible titles, and hot on the heels of announcing its latest game, Blighted, they’ve discounted their entire catalog on Steam. The Guacamelee games are only on sale for the next couple of hours at the time of writing, but the excellent shape-shifting action-adventure Nobody Saves The World will remain at a historically low 65% off for another few days. Nobody Saves The World is pure fun that’s great to just pick up and play, and it’s even better in co-op.
Quasimorph

- Release Date — October 2, 2023
- Developer — Magnum Scriptum
- Publisher — HypeTrain Digital
- Genre — Turn-Based Tactics, Extraction Shooter
- Steam User Score — 81% (Very Positive)
- Price — $14.99 (Normally $19.99, 25% off)
When people hear “extraction shooter”, they probably don’t think of turn-based tactics games. Quasimorph aims to change that. A grid-based tactics game with some impressively fast turns and a more kinetic sense of movement and action than what you might be used to in the tactics genre, Quasimorph is all about getting into a plague-inflicted space station, taking out targets, looting, and then barely escaping before it’s too late. Don’t let the fact that the game is turn-based tactics trick you into thinking the game isn’t exciting, because it absolutely is, and it’s currently at an all-time-low price of $15 since its launch into 1.0.
Galactic Glitch

- Release Date — June 3, 2025
- Developer — Crunchy Leaf Games
- Publisher — Crunchy Leaf Games
- Genre — Action Roguelike, Shooter
- Steam User Score — 87% (Very Positive)
- Price — $9.74 (Normally $14.99, 35% off)
Part Dead Cells and part twin-stick shooter, Galactic Glitch is an absolute blast of an action roguelike that is consistently fun, challenging, and rewarding. Having just been released a week ago, Galactic Glitch is still in its introductory sale period, and it’s worth picking up when it’s at its normal price of $14.99, making it an essential grab for anyone interested while it’s less than $10. Even better, you can currently grab it as part of a bundle with the also-excellent Genome Guardian while both are on sale, doubling down on two great shooter roguelikes.
Aliens: Dark Descent

- Release Date — June 19, 2023
- Developer — Tindalos Interactive
- Publisher — Focus Entertainment
- Genre — RTS, Tactics
- Steam User Score — 88% (Very Positive)
- Price — $15.99 (Normally $39.99, 60% off)
One of my personal favorite games to use the Alien license, Aliens: Dark Descent is a fantastic strategy and tactics hybrid with real-time combat and positioning that really nails the atmosphere of the films. Controlling a squad of Colonial Marines as they make their way through the Xenomorph-infested mining colony from Aliens is a nail-bitingly good time that’s also fairly challenging, and the unique stress mechanics at play force you to carefully consider each engagement. Dark Descent rarely goes on sale, so to see it down to a historic low of just $16 makes now the best time to pick it up if you’ve been remotely interested.
Company of Heroes

- Release Date — September 11, 2006
- Developer — Relic Entertainment
- Publisher — Sega
- Genre — RTS, Tactics
- Steam User Score — 94% (Very Positive)
- Price — $5.99 (Normally $19.99, 70% off)
Speaking of tactics and strategy hybrids, Company of Heroes is currently on a 70% discount, bringing it down close to its historic low on Steam. For those unaware, Company of Heroes is widely regarded as both one of the better military RTS games and one of the best games set in World War II, making it an essential pick-up for any strategy game fan. Its sequels aren’t quite as good as the original, but they are also on a heavy discount as part of Sega’s ongoing publisher sale.
Metal Gear Solid – Master Collection Version

- Release Date — October 24, 2023
- Developer — Konami
- Publisher — Konami
- Genre — Stealth, Action
- Steam User Score — 78% (Mostly Positive)
- Price — $9.99 (Normally $19.99, 50% off)
Nothing will change that Metal Gear Solid is one of the best and most important games ever made. Unfortunately, the title’s recent treatment as part of the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection leaves a bit to be desired. While it’s normally $20 as a standalone title apart from purchasing the whole collection, you can currently grab Metal Gear Solid for just $10 (as well as the rest of the collection’s contents at a discount) as part of Konami’s ongoing sale. Considering this is the only way you’ll be able to play Metal Gear Solid without the aid of emulation, it’s definitely better than not having it at all.
Strider

- Release Date — February 19, 2014
- Developer — Double Helix Games, Capcom
- Publisher — Capcom
- Genre — Metroidvania
- Steam User Score — 83% (Very Positive)
- Price — $4.49 (Normally $14.99, 70% off)
The Strider reboot from 2014 is a criminally underrated title that’s arguably one of the best titles to feature the character. Rather than a more traditional arcade-style action-platformer, 2014’s Strider is a lot closer to a Metroidvania, and it does a great job illustrating why Capcom should tackle the genre more. Strider is worth grabbing when it’s full price for $15, which makes its current deep discount of 70% off a deal that’s too good to pass up.
Borderlands 3

- Release Date — March 13, 2020
- Developer — Gearbox Software
- Publisher — 2K
- Genre — FPS, Looter Shooter
- Steam User Score — 81% (Very Positive)
- Price — $2.99 (Normally $59.99, 95% off)
The Borderlands franchise tends to go on sale pretty often, and it’s currently on another round of discounts (perhaps as a way to smooth over fans’ reactions following Randy Pitchford’s troubling comments on Twitter about Borderlands 4…). Whatever the reasoning, Borderlands 3 is down to its historic low as part of the ongoing deals on Steam this week, with the title currently a whopping 95% off at just $3. That might be the best dollar-per-gameplay-hour ratio of any game on this list.
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster

©Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster gameplay screenshot – Original
- Release Date — September 18, 2024
- Developer — Capcom
- Publisher — Capcom
- Genre — Action-Adventure
- Steam User Score — 82% (Very Positive)
- Price — $29.99 (Normally $49.99, 40% off)
The original Dead Rising is a love-it-or-hate-it cult classic from the 7th generation that had begun to show its age, prompting Capcom to reimagine it with some welcome gameplay tweaks and a nice visual uplift. Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is mostly still the same game that players remember from 2007, but it’s had its rougher edges smoothed out and looks fantastic running on modern hardware. It’s currently down to its lowest-ever price of just $30, which is a much more reasonable ask for a remaster than its normal $50 asking price.
