Another fantastic Soulslike that some players may have skipped over due to its lighthearted tone and cartoonish visuals is Another Crab’s Treasure. ACT may look like something pulled straight from an episode of SpongeBob Square Pants, but don’t let that fool you into thinking its gameplay isn’t dead serious. As far as Soulslikes go, Another Crab’s Treasure is both surprisingly tough and features some truly worthwhile exploration and character progression, making it a full package for the genre that’s more than worth its current $18 asking price.

As the saying goes, the classics never go out of style, and it’s hard to think of a better classic to grab during the Ultimate Game Sale than Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Together with Super Metroid, Symphony of the Night laid the foundation for the elements of the Metroidvania genre, and it still stands as one of its best games nearly 30 years later. The Xbox 360 got a re-release of the game on its 10th anniversary that, to this day, is the best and most faithful port of the original.
