The Best Xbox Deals to Grab on the Microsoft Store This Week
There are three huge sales happening over on the Microsoft Store right now, each of which has plenty of great deals on Xbox games to sort through. Between the Ubisoft Publisher Sale, Bundle Sale, and ID@Xbox Action Adventure Sale, there are hundreds of games on either their deepest discounts or back down to a previous historical low, making now a great time to pick up a new game if you own an Xbox Series X/S (or even an Xbox One). Keep in mind that, for most of these sales, these promotional prices only last for the next few days, meaning players have either just the weekend or through next week to take advantage of the deals highlighted here.

One of the better bundles that’s included in the current Bundle Sale on the Microsoft Store is for the Metro series collection, bringing together Metro: 2033 and Metro: Last Light‘s remasters as well as the standard edition of Metro Exodus. The Metro games are excellent and immersive first-person shooters that blend survival horror elements into their gameplay, and being able to get three excellent games for less than $10 is an absolute steal. This is inarguably one of the best deals available on the Microsoft Store right now.
The Outer Worlds

- Price — $5.99 (Normally $29.99, 80% off)
Another deep discount that players should take heed of is on The Outer Worlds, which just so happens to be getting a sequel in a little over a month. Obsidian Entertainment’s comical sci-fi adventure is a great game that can be completed in roughly 30-40 hours and has plenty of replay value, making it a great pick-up for just $6. If you’ve yet to play it, now is the perfect time to grab it before Obsidian and Xbox Game Studios deliver The Outer Worlds 2 on October 24.
Destiny 2: Legacy Collection

Another phenomenal game bundle that players should consider picking up is the Destiny 2 Legacy Collection, which contains the base game of Destiny 2 (which transitioned to free-to-play once Bungie took over the publishing rights) along with every single DLC expansion released for the title up through The Final Shape. That means players will have the complete Destiny 2 package except for the most recent expansion, The Edge of Fate, for less than $15. You’d be hard-pressed to find a better shooter with hundreds of hours of content at that price point.
Batman: Arkham Collection
- Release Date — October 18, 2016
- Developer — Rocksteady Studios
- Publisher — Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment
- Genre — Action-Adventure
- Review Aggregate Score — 92% (Arkham Asylum); 94% (Arkham City); 85% (Arkham Knight)
- Price — $8.99 (Normally $59.99, 85% off)
The last of the bundles that we’re highlighting as part of the Microsoft Store’s Bundle Sale is the Batman: Arkham Collection, which brings together three of the best superhero games ever made under a single umbrella and is down to just $9. The Arkham Collection regularly goes on sale for this price, but it’s no less one of the best collections you could add to your library, if for nothing else than having a copy of Arkham City that you can play on a modern platform. It’s impressive how well each of these games hold up, and together, they tell one of the best Batman stories across any medium.
Grit & Valor – 1949
- Release Date — August 21, 2025
- Developer — Milky Tea Studios
- Publisher — Megabit Publishing
- Genre — Real-Time Strategy, Tactics, Roguelike
- Review Aggregate Score — 80% (Generally Favorable)
- Price — $15.99 (Normally $19.99, 20% off)
Despite having just been released for consoles a couple of weeks ago, Grit & Valor – 1949 is already at a nicely discounted price on multiple storefronts, including the Microsoft Store. This real-time tactics and strategy hybrid is a fun, alternate history take on World War II in which the Axis and Allied powers extend the duration of the conflict through the development of mechs and other near-future weaponry, and its roguelike structure lends itself to smaller-scale, quick battles that have an impressive amount of replayability.
Lies of P
- Release Date — September 18, 2023
- Developer — Neowiz, Round8 Studio
- Publisher — Neowiz
- Genre — Action RPG, Soulslike
- Review Aggregate Score — 85% (Generally Favorable)
- Price — $29.99 (Normally $59.99, 50% off)
Any time that Lies of P goes on sale, it’s worth highlighting for anyone who might have hesitated to pick it up by this point purely based on the fact that it’s one of the best action RPGs of the last few years. Regardless of how you feel about Soulslikes, Lies of P is just an incredibly well-made game with some stunning environmental and enemy design, great combat, and a compelling story that puts a new twist on a familiar tale. And if you’re someone who enjoys Soulslikes, especially those with challenging combat, Lies of P is an absolute essential.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
- Release Date — May 19, 2015
- Developer — CD Projekt RED
- Publisher — CD Projekt RED
- Genre — Action RPG
- Review Aggregate Score — 91% (Universal Acclaim)
- Price — $7.99 (Normally $39.99, 70% off)
Ten years later, CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher 3 is still one of the high marks of open-world RPG design, and the fact that the developer regularly gives it away for 70% off or more makes it a no-brainer to add to the library. You can currently get the Xbox One version of The Witcher 3 for just $8 over on the Microsoft Store, which happens to have a free upgrade to the Xbox Series X/S version that brings it more in line with the impressive visuals and performance the game exhibits when running on a high-end PC. With The Witcher 4 now on the horizon, there’s never been a better time than to revisit or play The Witcher 3 for the first time.
Far Cry Primal
- Release Date — February 23, 2016
- Developer — Ubisoft Montreal
- Publisher — Ubisoft
- Genre — Action-Adventure, FPS
- Review Aggregate Score — 77% (Generally Favorable)
- Price — $4.49 (Normally $29.99, 85% off)
The Far Cry series is always highlighted as part of Ubisoft’s regular publisher sales, but for some reason, Far Cry Primal is often not included in the discounts. That’s changed with this recent run of the Ubisoft Publisher Sale on the Microsoft Store, where players can finally grab Far Cry Primal for less than $5. Primal might be one of the best and most underrated games in the modern Far Cry lineage, if for no other reason than it takes some big risks that mostly land in a series known for playing it too safe.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows
- Release Date — March 20, 2025
- Developer — Ubisoft Quebec
- Publisher — Ubisoft
- Genre — Action-Adventure, Stealth
- Review Aggregate Score — 85% (Generally Favorable)
- Price — $46.89 (Normally $69.99, 33% off)
This year’s Assassin’s Creed Shadows is arguably the best game in the series since Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and it’s down to its lowest-ever price right now on the Microsoft Store thanks to the ongoing Ubisoft Publisher Sale. While its story and characters are a little threadbare (a common problem for the Assassin’s Creed series), the world, exploration, and combat of Assassin’s Creed Shadows are all incredibly strong and enough to keep you invested for the 40-60 hours most players will spend completing the game.
